“I worked so hard for this. Having the surgery was a learning tool to guide me and keep me moving forward. I understand that my health is important and if I don’t care, then no one else will. My confidence is lifted and nothing can stop me now!” ~Maddie P.
Maddie is one of our success stories and one of our inspirations. It is always a pleasure for us to be an instrument for people in discovering what they are capable of and to help them along the way.
Our health, weight, and well-being is sometimes found at the bottom of our list of priorities. Other things seem more urgent and we put off our own health because we think it can wait. When we disregard our health for too long, that long list of priorities will most likely end up undone because we just won’t have the energy for it.
Take time to check how you’re doing, how your body is doing, how your health is doing. Do it for you. Make time for yourself because like Maddie said, “understand that your health is important and if you don’t care then no one else will.”
We can help you with that first step and we will guide you throughout your journey. We are here. Let us help you!

Here’s an easy abdominal exercise! Standing Side Bend
HOW TO DO IT: Stand with your arms hanging at your side and with a weight in each hand (soup can, gallon jug, etc.). Slowly slide one hand down the side of your leg until it reaches your knee. Do not allow your body to rotate as you side bend. Your shoulders and chest should remain facing forward at all times. Slowly slide the arm back up the leg until you are standing straight again. After completing a full set, repeat on the other side.
